At the 2022 U.S. State of Business Summit held in Washington, D.C., Economic Development Leader, Daniel Sohn, was named the National President of the U.S. Business Consortium.
Sohn will assume the overall direction of the organizations operations in January 2023 and will serve in the role part time through January 2026.
Sohn currently serves as the President & Chief Executive Officer at the Antioch Chamber of Commerce, Convention & Visitors Bureau.
Past roles include:
Chief Executive Officer, Imperial Valley Regional Chamber of Commerce
Chief Executive Officer, El Centro Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Bureau,
President/ CEO, South Florida Non Profit Chamber of Commerce
In 2021 Sohn was nominated by California Governor Gavin Newsom and then appointed by President Joseph Biden to serve as a local board member representing California to the nation’s Selective Service System, which registers men for the military draft.
Sohn said he's excited for the new role.
